SUN MODUL® Curvo is a further development of the popular SUN MODUL® patented glazing system. SUN MODUL® Curvo is an ideal solution for many kinds of domed skylight; in industrial, commercial, sports buildings (stadiums, gymnasiums, swimming-pools, tennis courts, etc.) as well as covered walkways, arcades, car parks, bus shelters, car wash bays.

Allow for a minimum radius of 2000 mm for 10 mm and 3500 mm for 16 mm and 5500 mm for 25 mm, SUN MODUL® panels can be adapted to nearly any domed shape.

SUN MODUL® panels are easy and fast to erect using the self-carrying channel and clip.

CURVED STEEL CHANNELS AND UV protected POLYCARBONATE CLIP PROFILES
SUN MODUL® panels are fixed into specially designed curved steel channels (part of the
SUN MODUL® Curvo system) and permanently fixed from the top with the polycarbonate
clip profile.

The geometry of the curved steel channel ensures accurate yet simple fixing of SUN MODUL® panels.

The gauge and shape of the curved steel channel gives very high rigidity and a free span of
up to 6 metres; depending on application.

The steel channels are delivered curved to the required radius.

The curved steel channel, SUN MODUL® panel and clip profile, when fixed, ensure a watertight joint.

Because the curved steel channels are always situated on the inside of the glazing, thermal
bridging is avoided.

Steel channel is hot galvanised and plastic coated for long life.

Final fixing of the steel channels can be carried out after the SUN MODUL® panels are fitted.

The clip profile locks the panel to the channel and prevents wind uplift.

The clip profiles (transparent or opal) can be interchanged to either achieve a monolithic
appearance to the surface or to make a feature of the joint.

FRAME AND ACCESSORIES
The system must be fixed laterally to a bent steel sheet (specified and supplied by the
customer).
PE inlays ensure weather tight sealing of the system.
